Victoria Arduino Athena Classic
Lever Machine
A style very prominent in the 1920's and, today, in many parts of the world, the Athena Classic features curved backs and operates by pull down levers instead of push button electronics, for the authentic preparation of espresso Italian style. When the lever is released, it will automatically raise itself and the espresso "crème" will pour out and the aroma of the espresso will be tasted immediately. This model is hand crafted of high polished, heavy gauge, sold brass or copper with a lacquer finish to deter tarnishing. A benefit of this model is that if the unit is directly connected to a water source with at least atm of pressure, the Classic can operate 100% on gas; no electric is required. This makes the Athena Classic the perfect choice for remote locations or where electricity may not be available. The Athena Classic is available with 2, 3, or 4 levers.
Options:
Gas (propane or natural) fired boilers with independent pressure switch and automatic gas set.
Chrome plated body.
Standard Features:
Hand lever operation. Espresso-grouping, espresso-group handle, and boiler flanges are made using heavy gauge, solid brass because of the conductivity and uniformity of heat that brass provides over other alloy metals. Horizontal boiler of solid copper which is extra heavy, nickel plated, internally and externally, to deter water fowling. Large, easy to use, knobs to operate hot water and steam wands. One hot water and two high volume steam wands with anti-suction valves to deter milk from back flowing into the boiler are standard.
Victoria Lever Machines also available in chrome or copper

The Victoria Arduino coffee machines have such a personal style that only an original communication is able to "explain the character". That is why their communication is left to the language of art.
The manifest symbol of Victoria Arduino –that which has become an important "piece" in Italian and International graphic design– is dated 1922; it represents an elegant traveller who, leaning out of a leaving train, makes himself an espresso using a Victoria Arduino, model Venus.
The author of the manifesto is Leonetto Cappiello, painter, designer, posterist among the most appreciated and known (1875-1942). For the main Italian Companies, Cappiello made almost three thousand commercial posters. Today this collection - that also has value as a historical witness - is collected in the main graphic and art museums in Italy and all over the world.

The Goddess of reception, for Victoria Arduino vertical model. Venus is the goddess of reception and welcome, in the wider sense, because she's the goddess of beauty, love, and fertility. To such a "divine" character an aspect that is "mythological" must correspond. Venus is really superb. It imposes both overall and in its many details, and also by the height topped by an eagle with its wings spread. The eagle is the symbol of strength, power, and royalty. The model Venus is presented in three versions, which differ in the materials: copper, brass, chrome. An available function of furnishing, modern or classical. In any case, an ambience with great personality.
